It is with some sadness that I write to inform you that I will be selling the practice on the 5th January, after 27 years at the practice and 34 years for some of you. Dental regulations have changed in recent years; the pressures of running a modern practice are becoming too much for me at my age. I had intended to continue a while longer, but have decided to step down before the stress becomes harmful to my health.

I am delighted to announce that Dr Karan Kaur will be taking over the practice from me. She will be responsible for the practice from the 5th January 2012 and, with the help of existing support staff, will maintain the practice’s longstanding ethos and reputation for good quality, preventive dentistry.

Karan is an experienced private dental practitioner who will be happy to assist you with any queries and concerns. Please feel free to make an appointment with her.

However, I will still be needed at the practice for a while, so I am continuing working on a part time basis for Karan. I will be working on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, while Karan will be working all day Thursday and Friday. Karan's hours will be 9:00 to 12:30 in the morning and 1:30 to 5:00 in the afternoon. My hours will remain the same as they have always been.

If you are registered with Denplan, as a matter of formality, your Denplan contract will be re-registered to Karan on the first of the month, two months from the date of this letter. There is no need for any action on your part as Denplan is aware of the change.
